Meet Minnie Rescued April 2005

UPDATE - Minnie has blossomed into a cute, mischievous little girl. She's a very happy little one and loves to be petted. In fact, she will pound on you with her little front paws until you pet her. She now barks a little (a tiny little squeak) if anything "threatens" her home and has been seen with a toy in her mouth! She likes other small dogs and wants to play a little with them...but her people are still her main focus. She will come running if you call her name.

At this point, we do not believe that she is as old as originally thought...perhaps 3-4 years old. Her silver mantle might have caused the initial estimate. She is a black and silver Affen so the coloration is normal.

GOOD NEWS...Ms. Minnie is housebroken and crate trained. She's a good little girl most of the time and just hangs out with "mom". She would make someone the perfect little companion! She weighs all of 6.4 pounds and has the cutest little face you've ever seen. She's a bit camera shy so this is the best picture available at the moment.

UPDATE...Minnie, now known as Cricket, has been adopted.
