Meet Alice Rescued 2009

This beautiful little girl is approximately 5 years old. She had a full time job during those 5 years keeping her elderly owner company. She was so busy being a good companion, she had few other experiences. Now, the world suddenly looks very large!  Alice is seeing new things daily, but is still quite shy. She is learning to trust as she keeps an eye on everything around her. I don’t think Alice has ever walked on a leash, but likes the view from someone’s arms. She gets on well with other gentle dogs, and can occasionally be heard defending her space in the very best Affenpinscher form. Alice keeps us company all night in our bed, and truly loves to snuggle and revel in the pillows.

I think Alice would thrive in a relatively quiet home environment, with adults and maybe even another small dog. She would respond well to a gentle touch and lots of positive reinforcement.

Alice is being fostered in Northern California. Alice is spayed, current on vaccinations, and is heartworm negative.

Alice has been adopted!! She is living in California with her Affen brother.
