Meet Beau Rescued July 2004

Beau was found wandering as a stray in the Dallas/Ft. Worth metroplex. He was scheduled for the shelter's adoption program when he developed a little upper respiratory infection and sneezed a few times. Unfortunately, this meant that he was no longer available for adoption by the public. Luckily Affenpinscher Rescue was notified of his plight and was able to get him from the shelter before his euthanasia date. The sneezing responded to a round of antibiotics and Beau is now a healthy, happy little guy in his foster home.

Beau is a young dog, approximately 12 months old. He weighs about 11 pounds and is as cute as he can be. He's a very, very smart little dog and already knows how to sit, use the doggie door and play fetch with a toy (a favorite game if you're willing to throw it). His favorite place in the house is next to you on the couch. He will curl up in a little ball and sleep as long as you sit. Once you get up, he will follow you all over the house. He's content to be with you all the time.
