Meet Betty Boop Rescued 2010 Adoption Application

My name is Betty Boop, I answer to my name, am housebroken, have basic obedience training so I walk nicely on a leash. I have a microchip, all my shots, I am neutered and my teeth are clean and white. I came from a puppy mill and was not socialized well, so I do not know how to play very well yet. I lived with a nice couple for two years, then their life situation changed and they had to return me.

If I get bored or overstressed, I spin--chasing my shadow. However, when I have company, either a full-time person or another smaller dog, I seem to stop the behavior. I may spin a couple of times, but if you say my name I stop. I like sleeping on the bed at night and will roll on my back for a tummy rub once I trust you. It takes me awhile to get friendly with you because I have trouble trusting, but I do come around if you give me time and don’t make a big deal out of it. I prefer to stay out of a crate, but if other dogs are around me, I seem to do allright, otherwise I bark. I weigh about 12 pounds. I am quiet, will follow you around and in time you will develop a great friendship with me. I am being fostered in Montana.
