Buford was surrendered to Affen Rescue by his owner who kept this puppy for a mere 2 days after buying him from a pet store where he was caged and lived the majority of his life.  Buford is extremely happy to be free and is very eager to please his foster mom who takes him hiking in Southern California and lets him roam freely in her home.  He is a very enthusiastic puppy, generous with affection, and loves to play with other dogs.  Show this boy a little love and he will give it back 10 fold!

Buford is working on obedience training, is house broken, crate trained, and has learned how to walk on leash.  He lacks exposure to the world outside of living in a pet store and is learning to be comfortable being held, using stairs, going for car rides, etc.  If his forever home could continue to expose him to this new world, he will prove to be more than a perfect companion.

This sweet 8 month old neutered boy is up to date on vaccinations and weighs 16 lbs, but needs to gain around 3.  He was extremely matted when he came into rescue and his foster mom had to cut his coat with scissors, down to his skin, so please excuse his appearance - he is a handsome boy!
