Coco's foster mom says she is the cutest dog she has ever seen. Her lovely upright ears remind us of a rabbit! Coco is a dainty 7 pound little girl who is just over a year old. However, don't let her small size fool you. She loves to play with her big brother Otto and the fact that he is twice her size does not deter her at all. She will not walk on a leash but she gets plenty of exercise in her fenced backyard chasing squirrels and Otto.
Coco came from a puppy mill and as a result of her history, will not go anywhere near the teenagers in her foster family. She is very devoted and affectionate to her foster mom and especially her foster dad. Coco will come when called, will sit on command and loves to snuggle. She sleeps in her foster mom and dad's bed with them. Coco is almost housetrained. She has a very occasional accident on the potty pad near the back door.
Coco would love to go to a forever home that does not have children but has another dog that she can play with. She is a very busy girl and without another dog to play with, she could get into mischief. She showed her love of gardening by digging the plants out of her foster mom's deck pots three times!
Coco is very sweet and very loving with her foster parents. Coco is located in the Chicago area.
Coco has been adopted and is in her new home in south central Ohio. She has a new mom and dad, and two Affen siblings. They are both smaller than Coco (around seven pounds) but all doing famously together. Coco follows them everywhere and has settled down nicely. Her new mom says all are getting along well.
