Meet Daisy Rescued 2005

Daisy is a female around 5 years of age. Daisy has really blossomed since she first came to stay with us. She was with her sister and seemed to be quite dependent on her. When her sister was adopted we were a little worried how she would react. Well, we shouldn't have worried. She came out of her shell and is very outgoing. She gets alon well with other dogs. They seem to regard her as the "matriarch", maybe because she is the oldest dog here. If you listen carefully you will hear her speak her own language. She makes these very soft grunts and whines, but they are happy sounds (hard to explain). However, she does not use these sweet soft sounds arounds cats. She loves barking at them and I think she would chase them if given the chance. Daisy is a mature acting lady but she doesn't seem to mind a boisterous household, as long as she gets her fair share of love and attention. She adapts easier than I gave her credit for and she is an excellent and loving companion who deserves that "forever home" you can give her.
