Meet Flower Rescued November 2003

Hi everybody!

My name is Flower and I am a six year old Affenpinscher. I spent the first six years of my life in a pretty nasty place called a puppy mill in MO, until a nice woman got me out and called my foster mom. She came and got me and now I am in a foster home with six foster brothers. I really like them. Two of them are Affenpinschers and four are really cool mixed breeds. I don't mind though. They play with me a lot, and I am clean and warm and have a lot of food and fresh water. The thing that is the best though is the love I get, not only from my brothers, but from my foster mom and her people friends. It is something that I had never known before, and I sure do like being hugged and petted and I like to snuggle. I slept with my mom the other night too....boy, people beds sure are neat.

I am a big girl. I weigh 16 pounds, but that's okay because there is more of me to love. I am in really good health and the groomer says I have a pretty black, hard coat I like to play, and most of all, I would love to find my forever home. I can stay with my mom and brothers as long as I like, but I think my own place and people would be so wonderful. Do you think that you might be that person?
