Meet Franz Rescued 2006

Franz is seven months old and weighs 9 lbs.  He is quite a fiesty little guy who loves running around in the back yard and also loves wrestling with his brothers.  Franz is the type that does not wait to be asked to get in your lap, he invites himself.  Nothing makes this dog happier than to be in your lap or to be held.  He will jump 18 inches off the floor trying to get me to pick him up.  If he sees me paying attention to one of the  other dogs, he runs over wanting his fair share.  Franz became attached to me very quickly and he loves to give me kisses.  He also loves the stuffed toys but, his favorite pastime  is to be with his person.  Franz also does a cool "Affen Dance".

Franz is crate trained for eating and sleeping however, he does not want to be left alone in the room by himself while he is in the crate.  As long as he can see me, he is quite content to spend time in the crate.  Sometimes he even goes into the crate on his own to take a snooze.  His potty training is coming along nicely and, he is getting the idea now that when we go "outside" it is time to do his "business".

Franz will need a home that lets him know up front that he does not run the house.  He needs firm guidance to grow up to be the fine young man I know he can be.

Update: Franz has been adopted!! Franz went to live as the only dog with his new family. They are retired teachers and have two teenage granddaughters who live with them. There are three other Affens in his new Dallas neighborhood that he can play with.
