Fritz is a 6 year old, neutered Affenpinscher. His previous owner had to relinquish him because she was sickly and could no longer care for him. He has red fur, almost strawberry blonde and it is very soft. Fritz has big, soulful brown eyes and weighs about 14 pounds. He is crate trained but even in his crate he likes to be in a room where people are. He gets sad to be left alone and would do best in a situation where someone is home with him most of the time. Fritz gets along well with the 3 other dogs in the home, and tolerates the cat. He likes to play, run, jump and chase the other dogs. Fritz recently had a dental exam and had his teeth cleaned. He is up to date with his shots and is on heartworm prevention medication. Fritz is doing really well with his housebreaking. His only “accidents” have been when it is raining. He just doesn’t like to go outside and get his feet wet. Fritz has a microchip to help him get back home if he is ever lost.
Fritz is a very lovable dog and would make someone a great pet. He is learning to give kisses. He isn’t a lap dog yet, but he loves to be near people and get lots of loving attention. Fritz is located in Colorado Springs and would be very grateful to find his forever home.
Fritz has been adopted!! He went from a life in snowy Colorado to sunny southern California near Santa Barbara. His new mom and dad just love him, and the first night he was there, Fritz fell asleep in a pile of toys.
