Meet Hans a/k/a Bobby Rescued 2006

This is Hans the puppy I call Bobby. At seven months old, Hans weighs in at 9 lbs and probably won't get much larger.  This little guy is a real sweetheart!  He loves to drag a stuffed toy around the house, stopping to chew on it occasionally.  Hans also loves to play tug with the rope toy.  If the rope is dangled slightly above his head, he will jump up, grab it and try to run before you can catch him.

Harsh scolding is not for this gentle, loving dog.  He will run away and hide if your voice is too loud and harsh.  All he needs is a firm "No Hans" and he stops whatever he is doing immediately.  Hans is crate trained as he eats in his crate and, he sleeps in it at night if he is in the room where he can see you. He does not like to be left in his crate in a room alone by himself.  Hans becomes attached to his person very quickly and wants to be near them all the time.  He will lie on the floor by my chair while I am at the computer.

Hans is also doing great on his potty training.  In the mornings he wakes me up banging on the crate door to be let out to "do his business".  As soon as I open the crate door, he runs to the back door to go outside.  With someone who will continue this training, he will be reliably potty trained in no time at all.
