This is Jerry, a one to two year old Affenpinscher who was rescued on his last day at a kill shelter.  He has been in foster care and is doing well.  Jerry appears to be crate trained and housebroken.  He is a black Affen with a little tan on his beard and on his legs.  His ears have been cropped and his tail has been docked.  He has a thick, hard coat.  Jerry's nose is much longer than the standard, and he weighs around 18 pounds.  We are pretty sure that he came from a puppy mill somewhere in the area.

Jerry has an Affenpinscher personality and will do better as an only dog.  He reacts very negatively at being cornered, so we think that Jerry will need to be in a home with a family with no children, or children over 15.  He loves to snuggle and seems to be a happy guy.  He is neutered with all shots, on Heartworm preventative, no parasites and good teeth.
