Meet Kerry
Rescued May, 2006

Kerry Large Picture

Kerry had severe problems when she was rescued: severe infestations of ear mites and hookworms and terribly swollen anal glands. Then a huge bladder stone was discovered and surgery was required. Through all these trials, Kerry’s disposition remained loving and brave.

Kerry’s health problems are over but for the rest of her life she will require special canned food to prevent a recurrence of the bladder stone.

Between one and two years old, Kerry is a designer dog: an Aff-a-Peke. She is very loving and not pushy. She has become more lively and talkative now that she feels better. She is in North Florida and is looking for someone special who will think she’s special too.

Happy Ending: Kerry, who struggled with and overcame serious illness after her rescue, is happily living with a family in Pensacola who can use her love and comfort. There are two physically disabled persons in the family and Kerry can give  her love and attention to them ---as well as to the teenage son whom she likes very much (and it's reciprocated!!)
