Meet Livvy
Rescued December 2002

Hi everybody,

My name is Livvy, and I am a black Affenpinscher. I weigh around 10 pounds and have natural ears and a docked tail. I am one year old (my birthday was Nov. 18), but I didn't get to have a birthday party until about three weeks later after I had been rescued from that old puppy mill. My foster mom saw that it had been my birthday, so she took me to McDonalds and got me a little plain hamburger. It was sure good. Don't tell her, but my foster brothers had told me she did that for birthdays, so it wasn't a real surprise. Two days later I went to live with another foster mom and she is just wonderful. She teaches at the same school with my first "mom", so I get to see both of them.

I have two foster sisters, a Shih Tzu named Chloe, and a Briard mix named Beth. They are a lot of fun and we all play a lot. I am housebroken now and I bark when I want to go out. If you're not home, just leave a paper for me and I will use that if I just cannot wait.

A nice doctor checked me out and gave me all my shots and some tests, and said I was a really healthy little girl. Oh, I did get spayed, but it wasn't too bad. I live in Wichita, KS, now and I will stay with my foster family and friends until you come along.

I can't wait to have a forever home and family who will love me and let me love them, but until I do, I want you to know that I am happy here. Livvy is a nickname for "Liv", which is the Swedish word for "life". I sure had mine handed back to me on December 7.

If you would like to find out more about me, just e-mail Linda and she will call my foster mom. I hope I meet you soon.

Tail-wiggles and doggie kisses to all of you,
Livvy the Affenpinscher

P.S. I have learned how to sit on command, and I can stand up on my two back feet and dance for you.
