Pepper Large

This little boy is Pepper. He is an Affenpinscher mix and weighs about 8 pounds.

He is housebroken and he loves to play.  He can fetch, walks well on a leash, and loves to go for walks as well as being a great cuddler.  Pepper is crate trained and stays in his crate during the day  and sleeps in it at night, although that might not be for long.  He has discovered his foster parent's bed :-)  He gets along well with dogs and cats, as well as children over eleven.         When his foster mom lets him out back into the fenced yard, he explores with the other dogs, will do his business and comes right back inside.  Pepper needs companionship and would not do well as a single dog.  In addition, he cannot be left unattended in the yard.  He is an escape artist and care will have to be taken to see that the fence (which is required for him) leaves no spaces for him to get out.  He is a small boy and doesn't need much room.  When someone is around, he is fine.  He will need to be trained about the front door and watched carefully.

Pepper is a young boy, about a year according to an estimate by the veterinarian.  His teeth are in pristine shape, and he really is a very sweet boy.  He was found in a shelter in South Dallas, where he had one day left.

Update: Pepper has been adopted!!!!
