Meet Riley Rescued 2008

Riley is a 7 year old neutered Affenpinscher.  He is up-to-date on his shots, had his teeth cleaned recently and is on heartworm prevention medicine.  Riley has recently gained a few pounds.  He’s over 20 pounds right now but should be about 14-15 pounds so he needs to lose a few.

Not much is known about Riley’s life prior to his fostering here in Colorado Springs.  He was confiscated by the Humane Society because of neglect at his previous home.  But now he is a happy, loving boy who loves to get his belly rubbed.  His foster home right now has 3 other Affens and he gets along fine with them.  But it is suspected that he would prefer to be the only pet in the household.  He loves attention (and treats).  Riley also lives with a cat and although he has never chased the cat, he does bark at her from a safe distance.

Riley is fully potty trained.  He uses a doggy door to come in and out at his leisure.  He has never had an accident in the house.  He has limited leash experience and has ridden in the car a few times without incident.  Riley would love to find his forever home and will be a loving and faithful companion to some lucky person.

Riley has been adopted by his foster family!!
