Meet Stevie Rescued 2008

Basic info:  Female, 1-2 years old, 10.4 lbs.

Housebroken IF she has access to a pet door at all times (into a secure fenced yard).  Otherwise, she is still working on potty manners if she will not have access to a pet door.

She is very loving, sweet, & snuggly.  Everyone who has met her adores her.  She loves to be held, carried around.  She does ok on a leash.  She is also very attentive to me, yet is friendly (albiet a little shy) with strangers.  She doesn't play much with toys, but enjoys a good tear around the back yard, & loves to steal underwear from the clothes hamper.  She can be mischievous, so we recommend trash be stowed behind a closed cabinet door.  Other than the stealing of underwear (and getting into the trash), Stevie has not exhibited any destructive behaviour. 

Stevie does ok with other small dogs, & is respectful of the older dogs in my home.  Cats unknown.  She has been exposed to children in public places such as pet stores, & she seems to do ok.  I have not witnessed long term exposure to kids.  She might be a little shy of men. 

Stevie has been adopted.  She is living with another Affenpinscher...her older brother.  They are living in Carrollton, TX, in the Dallas area.  She loves to play and to snuggle.
