Meet Sweet Pea Rescued November 2003

Hi!
My name is Sweet Pea, and I am a big Affenpinscher. I weigh 18 pounds and my foster mom says I am really pretty. She also says that I am learning to trust people more, but it has been hard. I used to live in a puppy mill and stayed in a cage all the time. I was never allowed to play or socialize with people unless I had babies to sell.

In my new foster home I have learned a lot of new things. Mom says I have learned about potty training very fast. I am smart and I like to play with other dogs. I play a little bit with my foster dad, but mostly I just like to sit with him while he pets me and shows me how wonderful love is. I really like to play outside, so I do need a fenced yard.

I hope I get a new home with a very understanding and patient mom and dad. I need and want lots of love, and I want to give it to you. I am really quiet and very sweet,so if you have time and lots of love to give, I'm your girl! Oh, I almost forgot. I live with my brother Tigger in Tennessee. His picture is on this site too.
