Meet Woody
Rescued July 2004

Woody actually came to Affenpinscher Rescue via the Michigan Humane Society. He was too reactive in a crate for them to put out for adoption and yet one on one when they took him out for exercise, he was a delightful little fella. I've had him now for a while and he is pretty bonded to me and does not like to share my attention with the other dogs here. He is a bit shy and leery of strangers, but does warm up once they sit down and are here for a while. He had hair sticking up and out all over and we did get him groomed and shaved down. His hair was filthy and he had pine tar or something all over his hind quarters.

Woody weighs 17 LBS. and is 12-14 inches in height. He's a bit chubby and is a human food begger, not that he gets that here but he has not given up sitting up and begging beside my chair. Michigan Humane did all the testing and a booster shot...we did rabies and grooming. He was already neutered. Woody is 7 years old, in good health, potty-trained and has taken over one of the couches all for himself, although he will share. He loves to play fetch and he also likes to take walks and go in the car. He was shy at first but he is getting much more open and confident.

UPDATE...Woody has been adopted.
