  Affenpinscher Rescue is an organization of volunteers who are dedicated to helping Affens in need. Whether it be a dog in a shelter or an affen who has found itself homeless for one reason or another, we are here to help them find new forever homes.

Picture Your Affen On The Calendar!
Calendar 2007

Is your Affen adorable? Beautiful? Cutely costumed? Darling? You probably could go through the alphabet. Capture one (or many) of your Affen’s charms on camera and enter the photo in the contest for the 2011 Affenpinscher Club of America Rescue Trust Calendar.

There is no limit to the number of photos which you can submit for consideration. Each photo entry must be accompanied by an entry fee of $5. (There is a reduced entry fee of $2 for rescue Affen photos, but the Affen must be identified as a rescue.)

Photos may be of Affens at work or play. The calendar will strive to balance Affen rescues, show Affens, performance Affens and pet Affens. Seasonal or holiday photos of Affens also will be welcomed.

Photo Contest Requirements

  1. No copyright photos will be accepted unless accompanied by a copyright release signed by the photographer owning the copyright.
  1. No persons shall appear in the photo. The photo should feature one or more Affens.
  1. No other breed of dog shall appear in the photo. Other species (ducks, sheep, horses, cats, etc.) will be permitted.
  1. Photos should be full-color of good quality and with good contrast. Calendar is in horizontal format so photos with this alignment will be preferred.
  1. Photos may be entered by scanning (minimum 300 dpi, higher preferred, jpg format) and e-mail, in which case the entry fee should be mailed to the ACA Rescue Trust via snail mail, or may be sent in hard copy (which will be returned to the entrant if a SASE is included with the entry.)
  1. Entries should include the registered and call name of the Affen, title(s) if appropriate, and a contact number and/or address for the owner submitting the photo.
  1. Entries and entry fees should be submitted to: Affen Calendar, 330 Whittier Street, Highland Village, TX 75077. Email address is: Affen1@verizon.net . Telephone number is: 972.317 2139.
  1.  All photos must be entered before March 1, 2010 to be eligible for judging.
  1. The calendar publisher shall judge all contest entries and shall be the final determinant of photos appearing in the calendar.

2011 ACA Rescue Trust Affenpinscher calendars will go on sale at the 2010 National Specialty Memorial Day weekend in Virginia and also will be sold on the Rescue Trust website at www.affenrescue.org.

2010 Affenpinscher Rescue Calendar now available.

The calendars can be ordered by using the Paypal button displayed below or mailing a check made payable to Affenpinscher Rescue Trust for $20.00 (US Dollars) for each calendar. This price includes $2.00 postage to any United States address. The check should be sent to Affenpinscher Rescue Trust, c/o Terry Graham, 8386 Avalon Drive, Tallahasee, FL 32305-8834.

Our adoptions require reference checks and a home visit. We ask for an adoption donation to help offset our veterinary bills. Of course, we will always accept donations from those who wish to help us save these deserving little dogs.
